G Livelab Tampere will once again celebrate the Sámi National Day with a concert starring Ánnámáret!

Ánnámáret is an audiovisual world created by the Sámi yogi Anna Näkkäläjärvi-Länsman and her team. It combines the Sámi yoik of Ánnámáret with Ilkka Heinonen's Carelian bowed lyre jouhikko and Turkka Inkilä’s electronic soundscapes, while Marja Viitahuhta's video art is in conversation with the music. The whole draws on both the rich Sámi yoik tradition and the living culture, nature and everyday life of Sápmi, transporting the viewer through images and music into intensely experiential worlds.
