Ánnámáret with her Nieguid duovdagat project is presented in American Folklife Centers concert series. This time Nieguid duovdagat music is presented in a small cosy form with Ánnámáret, joik, Ilkka Heinonen, jouhikko (Finnish bowed lyre) and Turkka Inkilä, live electronics. Ánnámáret and Ilkka Heinonen will be commenting and anwering questions in the Facebook chat during the concert.

A free noon concert series presented by the American Folklife Center and the Music Division of the Library of Congress. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the 2021 concerts will stream on the American Folklife Center’s Facebook page. The American Folklife Center is co-sponsoring this concert with the Embassy of Finland.
